Lately, I’ve been getting many comments about my blog from my real life friends. Luckily, all of them have been positive, but it’s odd seeing people you know in real life comment on something you had seen as an exclusively online activity. In some ways I see it as a really positive thing because it keeps me motivated to dress nicely every day. On the other hand though, I often worry now about people’s possible negative conclusions people may have made about me based on what they see on my blog (do they think I wear ugly clothes, do they think I’m vain, do they think my blog is stupid, etc.).
Do people in your life know about your blog if you have one? Do you worry that your online presence (no matter how small) might influence the way people see you in real life?

ReplyDeleteSecondly - I only told my two closest friends about my blog. If anyone else I know find it that's fine, but I agree it is a bit odd having people you know comment on my outfit too! I do worry about being judged, so that's kind of why I've mostly kept it anonymous.
